Mystery TB4

This little blue Thunderbird 4 is a mystery to me. It was seen recently in cyberspace. Anyone know what it is?

MYSTERY SOLVED! Grif, Andy and Mike B all knew exactly what this was - a Smiths Crisps premium. Cheers! Mike B has kindly sent some cool pics of the Smiths advert and his own lovely green Smiths Crisps TB4.
Thanks Mike!

and here is the original crisp packet kindly supplied by Steve [in 2010, I forgot!] at the superlative

That's one of the Thunderbirds kits that was an advertising premium back in the 60s with (I think) Smith's Crisps - I forget whether you collected wrappers or just sent in a postal order! There were TB1, 2, 3, and 4 - no TB5, which was a pity!

Yes, it was Smiths Crisps. You had to send in wrappers AND a postal order!

Cheers Grif and Andy. Mystery solved. It's currently on Ebay along with a JR21 Thunderbird 2. Didn't think they went together. Mike B has supplied some cool pics - to follow.
